Building a Shelving Unit: From Parametric Model to Technical Drawing
Angled shelving unit, designed and drafted in TopSolid Wood using parametric modeling. The side panels taper from a wide base to a narrow top, creating a wedge profile with four fixed shelves for book and display storage. The unit mounts to the wall using concealed split battens, so no fixings are visible on the finished piece. Construction uses 26 millimeter shelving and 19 millimeter panels, available in solid wood or veneered MDF. Full technical drawings and the parametric modeling process are shown in the video.
